Been a real busy week here, lots of training in gear and weapons. To really throw fuel on the fire, here's a picture of me in all the combat gear. I'm wearing the new ballistic vest, which has 15 pounds of ceramic armor protection to stop 7.62mm rounds (a.k.a. the bad guys).
Passed the Army rifle qualification course today, which is good and bad news (good = I passed; bad = now I'm really going to Iraq!), but it was pretty fun nonetheless.
